It's Khoros related. See post 5 response below.

This is the response I got on this from a dot com regular:

It is with Khoros who has the program for The Community. Sheila from eBay has been keeping us appraised of what is going on.  They rolled out this latest version of The Community earlier this year and it was an "out of box" program.  Members where asked to give eBay their Feedback.  Some enhancements were pursued and it was shortly after that that some issues started to pop up.  So they went back to the programmers to keep working on it.  This latest issue started a few weeks ago for some and was on and off.  Now it is mainly on as an issue.

Today Sheila posted the following on one of the threads:

As you all know, we use SSO to sign into Community and you're using the same credentials to log into Community as you would the marketplace. When you log into Community, information such as your credentials are passed from the marketplace over to Community. Well it turns out there are some fields that aren't passing information back to the eBay Community, hence the reason we're missing custom avatars, FB and listings.

So it sounds like they have zeroed in on where the issue is, info from eBay on a Member's account NOT getting shared with The Community.

Re: Community members Avatar and feedback score

Take a copy of the person's eBay ID

Go to  a search for anything page..

Go to the right of the Blue Search button and click on ..... Advanced... at the right of this page

Go to the bottom of the Advanced page and click on ... Only show items from... under Sellers

add the eBay ID  where it belongs and them click on the blue.... Search ....button at the bottom of this page.

marnotom!
Community Member

Also, I'm not sure if this "Find a Member" page is still linked to anything on the eBay Canada site anymore (I found it with a Google search) but it works:

That link is much better than advanced search which appears to be stripped of options. Extremely un-user friendly.
