EIS program won't show for any countries now!!

Last month I noticed a lot of my listings were not being offered to USA, but would sell internationally to the other countries. That is fine, whatever, I accept that.

NOW I am noticing that items will only ship to Canada, and nowhere else!! (I can accept the USA exclusion, but at least let me ship to the other countries!!) There is absoutley no mention of any other country except Canada.

I have one bussiness policy, with domestic stardard shipping, and only EIS opted in for international shipping (I do not inclue any other options for international shipping). I sell items that qualify for EIS.... there is no issue as to why they should not ship in the EIS program... and again, I can accept it not shipping to USA (Like a ton of sellers ave mentioned before)... but why now are they not listing to any other offered countries?!? EIS is a joke for not being transparent about these issues!

Has anyone noticed this in the last few days?!

This happened to me on listings from the last few days. Try editing the listing, don't change anything in it, and just hit "Revise it" at the bottom. See if it now shows the eIS countries correctly. It worked for me this morning.

You are the best...this worked! I changed random things in listing dropdowns and pressed revise and they are now offered to EIS (not USA of course), but i will take that as a win! Thanks!

(WISH EBAY WOULD GET IT TOGETHER... fix the problems!!!)

The problems can’t be fixed until eBay knows about them. This one sounds like a recent development. Let the eIS team know.

Re: EIS program won't show for any countries now!!

Let them know about 5 times, all with a lack of effort in reply. No solutions. Best answer is to change drop down menu options in listing menu and relist as previous person suggested. I emailed EIS@ebay.ca so many times about this EIS problem/ other problems.... no one really cares too much. Ebay help is useless. They do not care about their sellers. Been doing this for years, and this year has been easily the wosrt for help with issues.

I don't know about you, but I'd be very disinclined to respond to someone who email-bombs me.  I'm sure your emails have been seen, at the very least.  Unfortunately, I've noticed that in the internet world, communication and "caring" aren't synonynous.

Also, I don't know how you're contacting eBay customer service, but as the phone reps are based in countries other than Canada, I'd say that most of them probably aren't getting memos on the eIS roll-out in Canada.  This seems to be very much a "niche" area that's best dealt with by the eIS team, as overburdened as it seems to be.

Re: EIS program won't show for any countries now!!

YES I NOTICED IT ...... **bleep** !!?? .... Not too long ago, it was easy peasy to send stuff to USA from Canada ... NOW suddenly, I can't even send an invoice ......... And I CAN'T GET EBAY ON THE PHONE !! .... Tried for 3 days.  Sometimes they call me, but there's no answer on the other end.  Which is almost thankful considering most Ebay Service Agents, I use the term loosely, are in Timbuktu in an outdoor market in mid-day and they just started English lessons .... Anyway, another conspriracy against the poor folks trying to scrape by.  Thanks Ebay for a knife in the back...  Been on this site for 20 years -- and it's been the Marriage from Hell, worse than any in real life.

Shipping to the US became a lot more complicated after August 29, when the US duty-free limit of US$800 was eliminated and Trump insisted that all tariffs and duties should somehow be paid prior to shipment, ideally by the exporter and not the importer.  ("Make 'em pay!")

There's now a system in place with Canada Post for getting tariffs and duties prepaid prior to shipment, and, as you have discovered, eBay International Shipping (eIS) is now an option for many Canadian sellers, too.

eIS does have its shortcomings.  It's wholly responsible for invoicing, so you're not going to be able to send invoices to buyers who make multiple purchases from you.  And to make things more complicated, while not impossible to do, combining shipping with eIS the way you're probably used to doing it is tricky and probably doesn't give buyers the best possible deal on shipping anyway.

You've posted to the eBay Community boards sporadically over the past almost eight years.  I don't know if you do much lurking, @dbrownridge, but there's a wealth of information here and I would recommend that you or any other Canadian seller who does much in the way of sales to the US pay at least two or three visits a week here to keep up with the very fluid nature of selling to the US, especially the shipping component.  While eBay hasn't done a stellar job of handling the New Reality of Selling to the US, the fact is that Trump isn't making it easy for anybody to do this, so a lot of your frustration should be directed to the US administrator--er, administration--not just eBay.
