Anyone else ever do quick audits of shipping label charges. I check from time to time to make sure everything is going through on schedule. Recent observation is USA tracked charges can vary from month to month and also within a month. (Note: There are no taxes applied to US shipping only varying fuel surcharges.)
Based on minimum weight: 100 grams
August: 7.18 & 7.19
Sept.: 7.18 then 7.16
Oct: 7.19
Nov: 7.16
Expedited in Canada Nov.
eBay label created on 6th: 11.86
Charged in fees on 6th: 11.87
Because there are no explanations/break downs it is difficult to see where the problems are being caused. The amounts shouldn't be on some kind of whimsical float. I realize these are penny amounts but over a course of a year and millions of transactions these discrepancies could add up.

I'm pretty sure it's just the fuel surcharges, which are recalculated weekly. I have no idea about the 1 cent difference on the expedited one. Could be rounding isn't applied on the estimated one but is on the final one.

If it is rounding up it should be done consistently accross features. Not really willy nilly. If there was a breakdown of charges, sellers would be able to justify for themselves.

This issue seems to be back. Created a CP label April 9th. Still waiting on processing. Item has been in USA for 5 days. It WAS back to 2 to 3 days max to seeing charge but always before it hit the border. Unsure if anyone else is getting similar delays for label processing?

I'm having long delays in being charged for shipping labels. Some of my items have already been delivered to the buyer before I am being charged for the label.

I think what is needed is either some kind of checklist so we can marked processed or in charges showing as pending until it is with the date created and followed by date paid. We shouldn't need to monitor with a magnifying glass to confirm charges. It's always been a similar observation to how other charges display (date of charge and date processed are the same) to sellersand are immediate vs payments are "tape delayed" with the date created being MIA. Just bad accounting.

There is still a problem of not being charged for shipping labels. I have 4 not charged. The oldest is May 14th. Some items have been delivered & still the labels have not been charged.

I have 2 from the 16th (5 days past date dropped off) that haven't been charged. 1 delivered in Ontario and another 1 in customs at LAX.
devon@ebay Is eBay looking into a permanent fix for getting charges thru in a timely manner and secondly when labels are audited can we get an explanation as to the why they were? We understand the possibility exists for shipments to be audited but standard practice would be sending an explanation so sellers will be able to prevent a "next time". As stated multiple times in the past this was almost never a concern with Shippo or PayPal labels. Incorrect data entry "can" be a potential possible reason but noting that, if it is, should be specified whenever charges are being revised.

Just had an April 26th label charged on May 20th.
Also, 2 minutes apart was a credited transaction from a cancelled Canada Post label cancelled 27 days before. ebay states it takes up to 21 days for CP labels to be refunded. I think refund/credit transactions also fall into this delayed processing.
