I made a order on may 9th and never recieved my item. I reported this to ebay and all they do is give the seller more time and say if not recieved by this date we will help, then that date comes and they say more time. I will tell everyone I know and everyone I can post to to never use ebay. Amazon comes on time. I have done ordered my item again through amazon and have gotten it. Now I will have something I have no use for. Ebay is the worst place to do business with. If anyone needs more info on ebays poor service contact me at deralr68@gmail.com

Your experience with Amazon is better than mine. I don’t buy a lot from there, but I’d say that half the items I’ve purchased from there over the past couple of years have either arrived late, been misfilled, or not arrived at all.
Just out of curiosity, @dera2055, were you going through eBay's Money Back Guarantee process?

Two important factors when comparing the 2 is Amazon most likely has a warehouse across town. eBay sellers are everywhere. Transit time will vary. Amazon uses a dedicated shipping service. eBay sellers use all kinds of services. Not exclusively the post office.

I have an Amazon order placed on the 16th (all items were in stock and shipped by Amazon) and 9 days later most of the order still hasn't even shipped yet. They aren't necessarily any better.

May 9th was 16 days ago.
What was the last estimated date for arrival you were given by eBay?
Mark that on your calendar. Your purchase will probably arrive before then.
If the item does not arrive by the date you were given at the time of purchase, you can file an Item Not Received claim and get a full refund.
If the item arrives after that, you are not required to return it, although that would be dishonest.
