Hi,
As for the new zero insertion fee listings, it was mentioned:
Some things you should be aware of:
I have been listing the free 50 items on .COM for years... does this mean this is no longer happening? It has been changed to 200 items for this month and I can still list for free as for now... just wondering if this is a change in the future? Will I have to end my items each month so I won't get charged for next month?

Hello Tyler,
Do you know what is going on with Item Specifics? I had a large quantity of listings that required major updating on the weekend. 30+. Most of those updates were for specifics added to the original listing. Aeons/Eons ago. Some were already added manually, at the same time because they were not factored in by eBay. I had one yesterday for a book. It was missing the title. Major head scratcher. Book - Title would be an automatic with first listing. Today a listing several years old now requiring updating where all fields are magically blank. Only reason it sticks out was because I had to research it the last time to get it to meet eBay's "approval." Some of the required updates/modifications can be as minute as Boy's to Boys. Time consuming to anyone listing clothing. Others like Measurement system: Inches or Metric??? (Maybe should be Imperial or Metric) . Also, more likely specified originally by a seller.
Creating a listing at the beginning can be a lot of work. Fixing it after an item specifics implosions gets a hold of it is 20 times the work. There are similar discussions on this major problem on dot com with no proper responses. Some requested updates can be as minute as Boy's to Boys. Others like Measurement system: Inches or Metric???

Hi @lotzofuniquegoodies - I've seen some chatter about 'recommending' item specifics, but not a requirement, so that's unusual.
Did this say it was 'required'? Did it prevent it from renewing/auto-relisting?

Hello, Has there been any progress or determination of when the eBay shipping label feature will be ready?
Thanks
Hi @flyhooks4less - While there has been progress, there hasn't been a determination I'm afraid.

Gotcha @lotzofuniquegoodies - are these listed in the Business & Industrial category?

Hi tyler! Today I received an eBay message telling me to leave feedback for 2 items. These 2 items were previously cancelled at request of my buyer who had problems trying to pay for her combined order. They were then auto relisted and one has since been sold to another buyer (and feedback left).
It’s just not possible for me to leave any feedback for these. I am thinking I can just ignore this email? Please advise, thanks!
Hi @msmaggie060 - you're correct, you can ignore that without any impact to your account whatsoever.
Also to echo others - leaving feedback is a courtesy that we encourage, but never require (even if you COULD leave feedback on those two items).

Hello Tyler,
More info in proceeding posts. In checking the vast majority are electrical/electronic. but it does seem to cover a gamut of categories. In checking for a Revision History tab, this is sometimes available but not always. When it is available it only states that info was changed by does not clarify the data. For a break down 1 listing it is required (Missing brand - That would have been in original) The other 158 are suggested most likely caused by eBay changing a title here and there. If this affects an items visibility it is definitely a problem and something not caused by the original listing.

If you click on the update tab and scroll to the bottom you can check the ignore button. Problem is, at least with what I am seeing there are all sorts of variations. From specifics that are definitely required, to things that do not apply whatsoever to lastly, all blank. One that came up on the weekend of mine was for a packaged set of kitchen curtains. Fields required: Smart Home Compatibility & Wifi Protocol. That was a toss up between laughable and the category I chose...Like really???

Shortcut to check your listings requiring item specifics.
https://www.ebay.ca/mys/overview
Depending on the specific category of the items in question, it could be that folks are seeing the recommended-to-required ramp in anticipation of the September 9th requirement (more info I found here).
With that said, if you find any required/recommended item specifics that do not make sense for the category to have please send that feedback directly to the team: sdsupport@ebay.com so they can review it. Thanks!

Feedback is always voluntary, but FB can be left for a cancelled transaction, if only to say"thanks for helping me out of this mishmosh".
Similar to the Item Specifics question-- I've been relisting some closed dotCOM listings and a percentage (between 10 and 30 per cent) tell me to redo the weight and dimensions.
A pain but no biggie, except that these are ALL Flat Rate/Free Shipping where this should not be necessary since for Canada and USA I am using Flat Rate and for International I am supplying a dollar value.
My main concern is that those listings may have been invisible for months because of this unnecessary demand for "missing" information.
Hmm @femmefan1946 - I definitely agree if it's flat rate/free shipping weight and dimensions should play no part (and shouldn't be keeping an item from listing).
Just a quick clarification - does it recommend these changes or require them? That is, is it a yellow warning that's more of a notification (which you should be able to ignore) or a red 'you cannot proceed further' type message?

Tyler, as of this morning, all 3 listings I fixed are back again showing I need to add a bundle description to my item specifics. I don’t have “bundles” of items and all say NO under the item specific “bundle”. Definitely some kind of programming glitch!
Category seems to be Home & Garden - Kitchen & Bar - Linens & Textiles
Can you please get this annoying problem fixed? Thank you!
Hi @msmaggie060 - I'll see what I can do, thanks for getting me some detail I can work with! 🙂

I have not received a credit or a message from ebay.
Any idea what is going on?
Hi @lucitabby - I don't have any further information other than that outreach is planned and will be sent to your eBay message center.

Hi @hugapug - let me look into this further, it could be tied to what @mandicrafts reported as well.

It's a red exclamation point .
This is on a bulk relist usually between ten and 15 titles on the list, with one to three being highlighted.

Hmm... Thanks @femmefan1946 - let me see if I can find anything on this, that sounds unusual.

Hi @hugapug - following up on this!
The zero insertion fees can be cross-utilized between eBay.ca and eBay.com. Thanks!
