Fees for selling Currency with MP

Just spotted this on the US discussion board regarding coins and payer money. As an FYI only.

Sellers please make to sure to keep an eye on the fees eBay is taking out of your sales now that the transition has begun to the managed payment system. I have had 3 sales under the new program in the coins and paper money category that I have had the wrong percentage fee charged. I have an eBay store and the fee is listed to be 8.5% but I was in fact charged 12.35% and had to spend half an hour on the phone after each sale to get a credit, not actual $ deposited to my account but a credit. I can not be the only one that has had this happen to as I am not the only one selling coins. While the total of wrongs fees is just under $100 it is the point that the more I list/sell the higher that number will be and I am reluctant to list more. A 'ticket' was supposedly generated last week to look into this but another sale yesterday showed it has not been fixed. Print up the list of fees and keep close by, it is tough to find when you need it.

As per the Canadian store page pre MP:

Coins & Paper Money6.15%

As per the Canadian store page MP

Most Coins & Paper Money categories, except Bullion
  • 8.5% on total amount of the sale up to $4,000 calculated per item
  • 2.35% on the portion of the sale over $4,000
