No payouts for 5 days

So as of Saturday I have not received any payouts, the main payment screen it shows my available funds but if you click on payouts it shows nothing available and no funds have been released for a few days.

I contacted eBay and was told :
"You did not do anything wrong. the reason we need to verify this info is due to financial regulations. but you never got the prompt when you should have but because we did not verify the info that is why your funds have not sent yet. but rest assured we will help you resolve this"... that will take 24-48hrs

"I will need to request our IT team to send this notification - succesfully this time and to put the red banner on your account. at that point you will be directed to comfirm your bank information and to select an option to verify that info. You can do this by uploading a copy of a voided check or a bank statement"

Then I have to wait up to 3 days for my validation to be approved, then 24hrs for my payouts.

This is insane, I fulfilled my obligations and ebay got paid, they made a mistake (I get it, they happen) but I have to wait a combined week and a half for my funds? I don't get how this is even legal, between this and a refund hold from a customer who says the 8 track player I sold him is noisy 21 days after he got it, I am pretty close to selling elsewhere.

@femmefan1946 - it is indeed! I'm not certain if they'd be able to assist with account specific help, but I know they'd be able to provide some clarification on policy and situations in which holds might occur.

Either way, please make sure to leave questions for the specialist in the Weekly Chat thread when it goes up tomorrow!

One of the greatest lessions we should all learn from this is that we should NOT scale our business on ebay.

Ancient systems plus their approach to solving issues is to prolong it as long as possible. Plus esclation is almost impossible.

Payouts once you are set up will not arrive/process until after the weekend. Times will vary. Day extra if there is a holiday. To date I had one very small payout process mid Sunday. Not sure if that was fluke or the *&^ were smiling at me. Hope things all get resolved for you promptly. Best of luck.
