2021 Postal Rates

Looks like some good news and some bad news if I am reading things right it looks like there will be no increase in Letter Mail Rates for Domestic or USA/International

Domestic parcel will increase by 3.9% and International by 1%

I have not been able to find the fan foldouts, that show Small Packet rates, if anyone has found those I'd appreciate a link.

I did a test right after it was implemented comparing the ebay calculator, a signed in rate check with my Small Business account and final charges for same shipment inside Shippo. The total matched. Only difference is the total shown before tax in Shippo, the fuel surcharge is included after the discount as a total charge. Tax is a separate line. When you check your small business account all charges are itemized. Not sure if there is any difference with PayPal shipping. I haven't used recently. Example below:

Shippo:

Order Sub-total :                      $16.46

                                           GST:    $0.82

                                           PST:     $0.00

                                          HST:     $0.00

Total transaction amount:     $17.28

The example you just gave isn't for small packet and that is the one that we are saying is not correct.  I believe that you said earlier that it was correct but when I look at at item 402641034803 it shows $13.43 for small packet.  It looks like you have a $1 handling charge so it is really only charging $12.43 which is before the fuel surcharge.  The buyer should be paying $13.08.

Note we are not comparing Shippo or Paypal. We are saying that the ebay calculator does not match the Canada Post rates for small packet because it is not including the surcharge.

Canada Post just started adding a fuel surcharge to small packet US and small packet international but the ebay calculator is not adding on that surcharge to either service.  So buyers are paying less than what sellers are being charged.
