Hello. I just wanted to put it out there that Ebay is not allowing Me to start selling with them because five years ago I sold an Item ( Before they start auto deducting money from sales at the time of purchase ) and owe them $22 . I contacted them personally and told them my situation how I'm struggling financially and can't afford to pay them the $22 as I need my money to afford to pay shipping fees when somebody makes a purchase from Me. They refuse to temporarily waive the fee until somebody makes a purchase, by setting my account to negative -$22 , withdrawing the fee once I make my first sale. I've contacted them with several e-mails pleading with them to help Me and they keep saying no and showing no leniancy, although I'm almost certain its possible to make an account negative standings and collect the money later, they are just completey indifferent. A company that made 9.7 billion dollars last year wont work with Me at all and is so petty over $20. I honestly think this is why Ebay is declining and Amazon is succeding them. They have such poor customer relations. When I originally contacted a staff member asking why I couldnt finish registering my account ( I had been trying for about 4 months before I finally caved and called them ) because everytime I finished registering, it didnt actually say I owed $20, it said " Error registering, please try again later " . The representitive gave me the run around trying to figure out what was wrong, never saying I owed them. He then said He would e-mail Me later and never did. A month later I called again and finally was notified that I owed the $20. If I had known months ago, I would of paid it when I had the money, instead I was forced to sell using my brothers account, with Whom I easily made Ebay $600+ in fees within a 4 month period . I now have enough product I need to sell to make them another $400+ in fees, yet they wont budge at all. Maybe if Your company was a little more Customer friendly and lenient, You would have more success. Treat the community like human beings and stop acting like a Socialist Dictator with no empathy for the people.
