Canada Post Shipping Label Confusing

Below I have attached a scren shot of a warning eBay sent me regarding my package dimensions. I was about to send a box that is  L=31cm W=24cm H=15cm via Canada Post. eBay says that the sum of three dimensions can not exceed 90cm. I calculate the sum of three dimensions of my box as L+W+H, which is 70cm. However, as I was about to print my label I got the below warning that said my dimensions were 109cm. eBay was calculating the sum of three dimensions with Girth. I was calculating differently. What is correct? Do we need to calculate the sum of three dimensions as L+W+H or calculate, as eBay did, to include girth?  I am not sure why this is an issue that eBay Canada can not make simple for the seller to understand. I like Canada Post and would prefer to use them when I can. Any help appreciated!

Xpresspost  calculates the maximum dimensions as Length + Girth. Tracked Packet calculates it as L+W+H. Someone a number of years ago never programmed the warning correctly for tracked packet and it's never been fixed. eBay has been informed by many of us multiple time about this issue.

Long story short, ignore the warning as long as you're positive you're under the maximum sizes AS INDICATED BY CANADA POST. They're the ones that will fine you if you're over, not eBay.
