Hello,
It has come to my attention that some of my listings may have the incorrect item location (City and Province) indicated in the listing. I'm trying to find a way that I can see an overview of this for any listings that may stand out and with the incorrect location. However, I can't find a way to add a column or anything to that affect in my Listings summary for location. Does anyone know of a way to be able to view that without clicking on each of my ~1500 listings one by one and viewing it there?
Solved! Go to Solution.

I just went to your listings and used search by distance as a sort. First 11 pages come up with a distance of 2650 (Orillia). Part way down page 12 the listings start coming up with a distance of 2860 km (Kanata). Approx 80 are showing the 2nd distance. First item was:

I can't think of one, but if you do this, I would suggest making it a daily task of correcting ten a day until they are all done.
However, I would also suggest correcting the heaviest and bulkiest items first, since those price changes are going to be most apparent.
Are the city and province showing in a different postal Region than you actually live?
BC and Alberta are in the same region, and I don't think the cost of shipping from one to the other would be changed.
But BC and Ontario are in different regions, and the cost of shipping would be higher.

It hasn't affected any pricing for shipping, but I had someone checkout with the pickup option expecting an item to be available elsewhere.

I looked at a few of you most recent listings, they show a location of Orillia. I also checked a couple of your oldest listings and they also show Orillia as the location.
Is Orillia the correct location? What location is showing on the ones you say are wrong?
If you do have a different location showing on some listings there are a couple of possible methods to find an fix them.
Answer my questions and I might be able to tell you how to find them. At the moment I THINK you have only 3 listings which are not showing Orillia as the location but I need to know the old location to make sure and also to find them.

If it turns out there are quite a few of them to be changed, you can do that through Sellers hub/bulk edit. You could do all of them that way but I would probably just do a couple of hundred at a time.
I'm not sure if it can be done that way if you are using business policies.

Shipping costs aren't just based on regions, they are also based on whether or not the sender and receiver are in major hubs and/or if they are considered isolated. I haven't tested it in a while but last time I did, it was less expensive to send a package between Vancouver and Calgary than it would be to send one between Red Deer and Vancouver.

Orillia is the correct location. Some had shown Kanata which isn't correct for all, but it appears to be very few where it was incorrect.

That's helpful. I'll search them out that way.
Edit: Got all the ones that had that in error. Totaled about a dozen listings.
