WHh has ebay Canada never properly followed CanadaPost postal code protocol for address forms?
The proper place for the postal cvode for out of country mail/parcels is after Canada, not after the province. Today I received an order confirmation with my postal code between my city qand province? I'm concerned it would get to me from the US .
This is ebay Canada an we have to put up with American forms. DId CanadPost change it or is it just lazy programmers or plain indifference and ignorance?

The proper postal code location is after the province. Not after Canada.

FWIW- I used to write letters to be signed by federal cabinet ministers (three different departments).
The standard format was:
T.H.E. Constituent
123 Anywhat Street, Apt. 45
Anytown, ON
K1A 0A6
CANADA

Times have changed. When addressing mail to or within Canada, the destination city/town, the official two letter abbreviation for its province, and the corresponding postal code are all on one line now, with two spaces between the province and the postal code.
@clemowbooks' example looks like this:
T.H.E. Constituent
123 Anywhat Street, Apt. 45
Anytown, ON K1A 0A6
CANADA

hmmmmmm what is so different about the "American forms"? USA zip codes are placed after State similar to Canada's after the province.
BTW the postal systems do recognize postal codes even if/when wrongly placed...
Life must be really rough & tough for you these days to post a rant thread nitpicking about the placement of a postal code!
Hope the rest of your day goes better...
Peace be with you!
C'est la vie!

Canada Post has extensive documentation on their website about how to correctly address items, along with examples for just about every type of weird instance or edge case. They also have pages of accepted abbreviations, etc for when you run into that inevitable (usually Quebec) address with a hundred hyphenations.

You're right.
The code does go on the same line as the city and province.
In my defense I retired just two weeks short of ten years ago.
