Is there an issue with Canada Post rates through eBay Labels? I went to buy a label this morning and my expedited lite rate was $23 with no listed discount.
It appears none of the Canada Post rates have any discount as of this moment. This is shipping within canada. Is anyone else experiencing this?

Did you sell this with calculated or flat rate shipping?
Some very remote areas are expensive to ship to and don't qualify for the typical $6-$8 Expedited Lite rates.
If this is the case, your best option is to either use an extra-small flat rate box, or if it is below 2CM and you absolutely require tracking, send it registered lettermail. If it is a cheaper item where the risks of sending it untracked are low, and you don't promise tracking or Expedited shipping, you could always send it via oversized lettermail.

EBay stopped giving Canada Post as a shipper a few weeks ago? Are you saying Canada Post is available again?
FWIW- You can still buy discounted Canada Post services directly using your Services for Small Business account.
The discount isn't as good but everything helps.

I think there was a complaint about that last week, maybe more than one.
Search topics for Expedited perhaps?
Not a service I use, I prefer untracked Letter rate domestically unless the item is very valuable.
And Registered is also a domestic possibility at $11.75.

I used Expedited Lite a week ago, but not recently. But there is an ongoing issue where eBay is charging us twice for the labels. They first charge us the correct amount, then many days later you are charged again. They are charging us for regular Expedited instead of Expedited Lite. This has been reported by many of us. We all need to receive credits for the overcharge, but not holding my breath.

That is a big worry for Canadian sellers if none of our discounts are showing. Maybe contact eBay chat about the problem if it doesn't resolve today.

Did you try using different postal codes? Some postal codes in remote places will not allow the discounted CP rates.

I have Ex Lite showing, and I see discounted rates for other Canada Post rates on my account

Could you look into this please?

Not experiencing this.
Do you have ebay discounted rates enabled here:

I think this only applies to what buyers see as calculated rates and not when purchasing labels?
Is it happening on other items or just one most recent?

Ok, so it appears false alram and that this is the issue. I didn't know this could happen but yeah, if i change the postal code the discounted rates and services show up. **bleep**. it was already promised expedited/tracked so i will have to eat the cost on this one. Thanks all

This was the issue, remote location. Already promised with tracking/expedited so i will have to eat the cost. Bummer. Lesson learned for me.

False alarm, it was a remote destination.

I had a few relatively remote orders this weekend too. Time to break out the extra small flat rate box!

Yeah, I had to eat one a while back, it was going to a remote indian reservation somwhere in BC.

On the bright side (about 25W) those losses are tax deductible.
Keep track of them to reduce your tax burden.
Sigh.

Registered is now $13.15 plus the usual letter rate.
