FYI - zip code 90733 in San Pedro is EXCLUSIVELY for P.O. Boxes.
My guess is that the actual box number is specific to a particular post office location in San Pedro (all the PO's in the area are zip 90731).

According to Google there are at least 6 post full service offices and numerous self serve post offices in San Pedro. To mail to each would require its street address. If you don't heard back in 24 hours, and there isn't a phone number listed with the transaction you use the How to contact a buyer page and confirm their mailing address before mailing.

This is the way the old general Post Office box addresses used to look, just P.O. Box plus town name and a postal code. It may be fine -- is this also how it's shown on the Paypal transaction details?
I would either wait for the buyer's reply or -- depending on the value of the purchase -- give them a phone call to confirm the address. This kind of thing can be very quickly cleared up by phone, just remember the time zone difference if you're not in B.C.!

It might work if the box numbers have no duplicates for that zip code. But I'd check.

I did a google search on that address and it led me to a site that tries to place people at places and it provided a name to a person to which I won't link. The website is something like RealPersonHeredotcom. I have no way of telling whether it's legit. But, yes, in the older days or in present-day rural Manitoba, an address could/can simply put be So-Snd-So at Box 123 Any Smalltown, Manitoba, P0S C0D. Maybe it was a complete address in San Pedro in 1872.

There are many ways to find out what is correct.
A white pages search will be helpful....
This has been done many times by me... for Canadian as well as US address.
San Pedro is a part of Los Angeles .. as per Wikipedia.
Many times a buyer will have a PO Box number.... This means the parcel goes to a USPS Postal Outlet and will not be left on a doorstep
----------------------------------------
and then there is Google Maps...
There was once a strange address ... unusual format.... in New York City.... First it was white pages, and the address was verified as correct.
Then it was Google Maps, and there I was standing on the street in front of the house.
----------------------
Something like having mail going to York Ontario... where York is now a part of Toronto
Once upon a time ago.. about 1812 ... The War of 1812...Toronto was known as York.
Yet York is still used as a destination in Ontario... as a York, Ontario address.
----------------------
Confusing... Maybe...
Wrong... not quite so.....

White Pages indicates that
Box 841 San Pedro CA 90733
is a correct address but with no current owner or resident.
The map indicates this is most likely a small mall..... most likely... perhaps... a postal outlet, or a place with many PO Boxes.

If silver ships this with tracking his butt will be covered on any 'incomplete address' problems.

The post office for than zipcode seems to be on South Beacon St according to GoogleMaps.
Handsome building.

is this also how it's shown on the Paypal transaction details?
Yes, the PayPal address matches the eBay address.
This was the buyers response;
Yes this is my post office box 841 San Pedro Calif 90733

That's good to know.... It's been awhile since I sent something to a P.O Box but I've never questioned the address before.
Usually there would be a building location or street included in the address.

With certain countries, Canada Post will also flat-out reject an incomplete address when you use one of their shipping tools like SnapShip. AdComplete, I think it's called? It's like when Canada Post auto-fills that data field based on what they know about the address. If the address is incorrect, it will tell you so. But this works only with labels purchased from Canada Post, not a stamped envelop you might prep at home and simply leave in a mailbox.
There is some statement in the MoneyBack Guarantee that absolves the seller of responsibility if the buyer supplies an incorrect address. I had to investigate the intricacies of the rules there more than once. There's this in Help but I don't see this particular situation specified: https://pages.ebay.ca/help/policies/money-back-guarantee.html
I cannot seem to find what Help Page to which I am referring; it dealt specifically with tracking shows buyer provided an incomplete address or indicated Return to Sender. I can, however, find lots of ebay.com Community threads about this situation and all seem to point to the seller being not responsible. We ship to the address we're given and if tracking can prove that's what we've done, our responsibility has been met.

The USPS Zip Code website shows:
PO BOX 841
SAN PEDRO CA 90733-0841
If there were a number of identical Post Office Box numbers in San Pedro, a list of them would have been shown, with corresponding zip codes.
It used to be, and may still be, the policy of Canada Post to NOT include a street address when a P.O. Box is used. This may be a similar situation.
If this is the address shown on the PayPal e-mail, and her feedback shows many other purchases, I wouldn't hesitate to ship.
