I have been a seller for about three months now. I do not have a store yet. If I get a store now, will my listings go up to what is allowed in the store or is there the same thing without a store..and you have get a certain amount allowed each month.. I am only up to 40 listings..and that is not enough.

Hi @chastershop - your shop does not affect your selling limits, they are different things.
If you've been selling at least 30 days you can contact Customer Service and request a limit increase - they'll get you connected with the right team and ask you a few questions about your business. Once they've gotten an idea of what you sell they'll work with you to get limits that make the most sense to allow you to grow but reduce the risk of becoming overwhelmed.
You can reach Customer Support by phone (http://ebay.to/2A7jSZv) or social media (Twitter http://bit.ly/2jLDkoz or Facebook http://ebay.to/2A5vufv ). Thanks!

Thank you. Is there a direct phone number? Do I click on Account or Sellers to get through to them?

Click on Help and Contact.
You should get a phone number and a PIN.
Phone during US business hours to get the Utah clerks. The accents are awful but they seem to have a bit more leeway.
