This is the second time I have encountered this bug. On listing an item, I get an error message saying that I need to select a shipping service, except when I do, it disappears right after clicking submit button.

Screen recording in the Youtube link. I get the same result on both Android and desktop browser (Firefox). Ebay has been very buggy for me since joining but this one is might just be the final nail on the coffin. I am blocked from listing items with parcel shipping.

I'm not sure what the problem is but have you tried another shipping service? Expedited parcel will be about the same price.

Have you tried looking at your "Shipping Policies"? Maybe something with the new listings aren't matching up what you have as your Shipping Policy. I use the browser to do mine, under "Account", go to "Business Policies", then "Shipping Policy". There should be a main one that your listings default to. You can have more than one if say sometimes you use Free Shipping and other times want to use a different one. You will see a number of options in there. For myself I have three policies set up for items depending on when I am shipping to Canada and US only, International and a third one for larger boxes (that don't work with my other two).

I don't use shipping policies and not sure if the op does either but if this related to a shipping policy, where would on the listing form would it say that it was associated with a specific policy?

I am using shipping policies and cannot list. Same something went wrong error. The fees calculators seems to be swirling but never updates. Very frustrating. Gotta be costing sellers and Ebay money.

Looks like they have responded and said they do use the policies and that isn't the problem.
To answer your question though after the "Selling Details" portion of the listing is "Shipping Details" and it is in there. I didn't realize we could list without a shipping policy, I can't remember now how it got that way for me (was about 8 years ago I set it up originally. I have gone in many times to change things but I thought there was one already defaulted in there just called "Canada Post".
I had the spinner on the fee calculator as you mention a couple of times earlier this week when I was listing items, it wasn't a problem with shipping but the dreaded spinner kept going when I was trying to post the listing. I had to leave the listing, closed the browser and started again (what I had wroked on up to that point was saved in Drafts"). It was my only way to get away from the never ending spinner!

I cannot even get back into any of my drafts...something went wrong try again. Different browsers, phones, nothign works. Its been days.
