I use free CCleaner to clean my Windows 10 computer temp files, browser cache and cookies on startup. I usually start my computer and shutdown each time I use it. I have been doing this for years and it minimizes issues with eBay in particular and with the computer. Also good for minimizes potential virus hiding in windows cache and temp files.
I believe you can set your browser options to delete cache and cookies on exit.

I used to always do full shut downs every night but with my latest Win 10 machine I can't shut down because if I do I have to reindex it as outlook (and likely other things) can't find things.
Restarts are AOK it is only full shut downs for some reason.
So "sleeps" it is for this machine with only very rare shut downs....
