I keep getting these pop-ups on my iMac popping up in the top right of my monitor alerting me that I've been outbid on MacBooks that I'm not even bidding on. And don't tell me to switch off all my communications and alert options because they're all OFF. And how on earth do you get to talk to a real person at eBay to ask questions? Items finally arrived from seller after over 3 months. So I ret'd refund thru Paypal (as normal).  Now Paypal has ret'd $$monies to me saying seller does not have a Paypal account. I've tried to email seller x 2, but they will not return messages and will no longer allow me to bid on their items even though have been EXCELLENT buyer with only positive feedback. Questions: 1) I don't know any other way to pay safely for items - I thought we ALL had to have Paypal accounts to be on Ebay 2) Are buyers allowed to complain about sellers who arbitrarily refuse to allow them to bid on items even if they have history of buying 100's of items with never a problem. ... All pages take way too long to load and I surf .ca and .uk sites.  I have an HP xw4400 workstation w 4gb ram and I've maxed out my service provider download speed to 30MBPS. I know 4gb is not much, but all other sites, including buying sites work well on my pc, so this seems to be an issue with ebay sites only. I've also limited to 25 items per page when searching and still it takes way too long to load. Is there anything in settings or elsewhere that I can verify to improve the download speed? I have been trying and reporting, that the shipping calculators do not work for years, yes years, and this problem still has not been fixed. i always have to bother the seller.for shipping costs. the US sellers calculators do not except postal codes, they say they do. But no they don't.. ebay come on address this  and fix it. The last rep I called at eBay said he would update the calculator to except my postal code. security certificate issue, webpage not responding, long running script plus a few other I can't recall at the moment.  Also if I have my ebay home page open in my browser, my cpu and ram usage starts climbing rapidly.   The webpage also becomes slow and unresponsive.  I do computer repairs as a sideline and their is definitely a problem with your website.  I only open the webpage now if I need it to.   I'm concerned about my security as a user and if this doesn't improve I will walk away from ebay in fear of another security hack...which is what it feels like is going on now.  ...
