good day,
just wondering if anybody was having any problems with CP light packet service, ONLINE LABEL through paypal service??
I have had three envelopes returned to me in the past 2 weeks. no reason listed, I double checked , weight , dimensions, etc. no apparent reason for the return, and no info listed on the envelope. Am, I alone???

What has happened is that your items' return address was read by some Canada Post sorter as the To: address instead of the From: address.
What I do is use a yellow hi-liter to hilight the To: address in bright yellow to try to help these special people figure out their own labels.
Alas, I still occasionally get some items directed back to me even with the highlighted address. I send them back out again and the second time they find their proper way.
I also e-mail my customers to explain why their items will take a few extra days to arrive and hope they believe a story that sounds like a "dog ate my homework" tale.

This past week. I started to circle the very tiny print that says PREPAY and mark in black marker , prepaid also on the front . so far so good, no come backs. I suspect in my area they think that no postage was paid. I think they should reconfigure the layout to put a PREPAID logo on the spot where postage normally goes.
A highlighter I have found is a must , to use with this service. the whole layout needs work, and larger print.
Or maybe it is just my eyes after a long day LOL

My town's population is about 2500... and I'm sure there are only about 10 people in town who have ever heard of eBay. I think it depends on the postal employee as I have had the exact same thing happen to me in the past. My CP office has 3 ladies that I swear have been working there since World War I. I have to highlight, circle, point out and light fireworks each time I bring something there which is why I barely use Canada Post anymore 🙂

Regarding CP light packet service, it may be cheap but with no tracking number or shipment number items going to the States could be a little dicey especially if someone is saying, where's my shipment. At least if sent light packet air you get a shipment number. But I've learned the hard way, nothing gets sent to the US without a tracking number. May cost the winning bidder more, but it saves on headaches all around.
