I have a buyer asking me to send him the shipping invoice in Canadian dollars to him and he will give me his address upon payment. I'm super confused as to what he is asking as I have set my shipping rates at a fixed price (I'm an Etsy seller... this is just easier for me as I'm used to it). Anyway, as far as I can see the shipping prices are clearly marked on my listing, so what gives?? After the auction is over, does he not get a notice with the total amount due?? Thanks!!

You are pricing in US dollars I am assuming?

I "think" it may be one of those people that think US converted to Cdn is cheaper than US alone. They don't seem to understand that the exchange is added in.

Yes, they will get an invoice, with the total amount due.
