Has anyone else noticed a trend lately of not receiving any feedback from their buyers,not even an acknowledgement that their item has arrived?I know some of you would say no news is good news.

For the past year I have only been  receiving feedback from the sellers I have purchased from,nothing from my buyers.

Have buyers gotten bored with the Feedback system or just don't care for it.?

Yes, very few feedbacks being left on my account anyway. Seems quite a few people are sending me emails confirming delivery instead.

eBay has noticed... 

and that is why the way eBay  evaluates sellers and ....buyers ...  is changing....

My FB received is down to around 30%. ANY message from buyers is down to maybe 10% of what it was a couple years ago.

eBy has to be noticing as they keep track of this sort of stuff. As everything related to buyer-seller interaction decreases, the need for Peggy decreases.

I actually just had an interesting conversation with a friend of mine... he knows I sell a lot of stuff on eBay and he was wondering why he didn't get the survey to evaluate the seller's performance. His expectation was that after the sale was completed he'd get an email or something from eBay surveying the transaction and how it went. He's only used eBay a time or two and had no idea that he had to initiate the feedback process..... so like we've been saying on other threads, I think we often misunderstand the lack of action or "strange" actions - I think a lot of buyers do not really understand how eBay works and the related processes.....

Interesting, I noticed the same. Only about 25% of buyers left feedback - usually it was about 65%.

Almost no buyers leave feedback any more, from what I've seen. Really, there's pretty much no incentive for them to do so anyway.

What Geek says, there is no incentive. I get a lot of "one off" buyers with a FB of 0. They want what they want and move on. FB means nothing to them.

Used to be that yer FB score counted as a badge of honour in society as in "WOW". Now it is more "well, aren't you special".
