Hi Everyone,
I was gone for 5 - 6 weeks between March and April...to Ottawa then down to Virginia Beach and then back to Ottawa. All of my daughters and granddaughters traveled with me to visit my Dad who was quite ill. While we were there he passed on. He had been diagnosed with end-stage lung cancer in February and was told he had about 2 months more to be with us. This I did not know until after he died. Thankfully we were there to spend a few weeks with him before we lost him. He finally had the opportunity to meet our youngest daughter, Emi, and his newest great-granddaughter, Mia. He was quite happy about that and seeing our twins as well.
I reopened my store on May 15th and have placed my store on vacation status yet again as of June 9th because I'm traveling again. While open I had fantastic sales and now I have two days to pack as we're leaving on Monday, the 15th. Same direction but this time to tend to my Dad's estate. One of my three brothers was to tend to this, however, he is well.....not exactly doing things legally. So, I'm being asked to step in.
I wont' be back to Saskatchewan until the end of July and then hopefully I'll stay put for a bit! I'm beginning to feel like a yo-yo! I've decided to leave my store on vacation until our girls are back in school again. That way when we do get home I can help knock down some more buildings! Talk about a stress reliever!
I wanted to wish all of you a fun, relaxing summer with great sales in between!
