Got a fake email this a.m. Supposedly from paypal saying account suspended. If you get one check your properties, no such address as "paypall". Delete and don't open, you just know they are going to ask you to sign in to your account.

Was it in English? Was the address comcast?
I got one in German yesterday.

Luckily I've only received one fake email and that one was pretending to be my bank (RBC). Obviously didn't open it and deleted it from my server (looked how you do that - easy, took a minute) not just on my blocked senders list - that just goes into my Deleted Items. RBC always asks you to report it to a special email address for them, which I did. But you know, it still makes me nervous - I know they want personal info to get into my bank account. But thanks for that Screenshot - that was great.

I received them twice this month, the last one has my full name on the email, looked very legit, the only thing that gave it away in a glance was paypall with two "L"s.
I don't know how they got my full name but am not surprised.

I receive one of these a week. You can always tell it's a fake by the link that they ask you to click on.
Yet there are some foolish enough to click it.

I just received one today which also appears to be in German. I forwarded it to spoof@paypal.com and within minutes received a reply from them, also in German, which I just deleted.
Very strange.

Just noticed your other question regarding whether or not it was from Comcast.
It actually came from service@intl.paypal-de.

I just received an absolutely legitimate looking email from PP saying I paid Skype $47.00.if I don't agree with the charge ,click on the link bellow and have your CC info ready!
Someone must have noticed I just updated my skype ,and used PP a few days ago,put 2&2 together and figured I could easily fall for this **bleep**.
What a waste of talent, time and energy to try to scam people by thousands so maybe one or two would fall victim.

I received the Skype fake however its source was not Germany but the U.K.
I also received 2 fake PayPal restriction notices in the past 2 weeks, both originating in the U.K.
Probably somebody setting up fake template forms and selling them to whatever country they can..
I am located in Canada.

Usually the first red flag for me is somewhere in the spelling or grammar of the subject line or message, or any "Click here" in the body of the text. Fraudsters (fortunately) still haven't yet learned colloquial English.
The other red flag? If it's something you weren't expecting from Paypal, be suspicious. You can always go directly into your Paypal account and check to see if there is anything needing attention.
Email invasion is becoming a fact of everyday life...
By the by, does anyone know whether Paypal has recently dropped its $0.50 fee on withdrawals under $150.00? It used to be that any smaller withdrawal attracted the fee, but when I withdrew money a few days ago (under $100), there was no fee at all. A special promotion perhaps? Or a permanent change? Hopefully the latter!

I got the Skype one and I don't have a Skype account. I just sent it directly to spoof@paypal.com and they confirmed it was a fake.
Nothing showed on my actual PP account.
