How is one to rate "communication" when there was none because none was necessary?

The feedback process may not be completed without entering something for all fields. But what should a buyer enter for a transaction in which there was no communication other than possibly and invoice upon receiving the item? Many transactions don't require any direct communication. In fact, ideally there shouldn't be a need for such if there are no questions, and the transaction goes as it should -- buyer promptly submits payment and seller promptly sends item without incident. Giving "5" (or any other rating) for something that didn't happen would be misleading and defeat the purpose of feedback. However, as it seems that anything less than a "5" is considered a negative rating for sellers, picking the middle road 3" (OK, neither good nor bad) isn't ideal, either. What do you think? By the way, best wishes to everybody out there in the world and goodwill to all!

You can leave it blank and it will have no effect on the seller's ratings.

Your over thinking this.... I'm glad your aware of how DSR's effect a Sellers Rating. If the transaction went smoothly with no problems and your fully satisfied just leave 5 stars across the board.

Feedback and DSRs no longer have any impact on a seller's account.
They only serve a public relations purpose for future buyers.
If you can leave it out, do.
If the transaction was okay, use Five Stars to make up for the Uranians who purposely leave low ratings because they can.
