I received a message saying my item was sold. but the buyer doesn't take any more action.why?

what can i do if the buyer doesn't pay after it shows my item is sold? Shall I pay for the listing if i don't receive any payment?

it hasn't even been 24 hours and people are a little busy this time of year.

If you don't get paid today send an invoice tomorrow, if you don't get paid after that open on Unpaid Item Dispute on Monday, if the buyer doesn't pay by the end of next week close the UID and you will get a refund of the Final Value Fees.

I suspect your buyer who is new didn't realize/understand how high the shipping was.
