Is there an ebay feature for buyer watching?

Hi, I know in the past Ebay had a feature where you could see what people were bidding on and they cancelled it. I heard they brought that feature back. Is it true? and if it is, how does it work?

hi rock-n-roses, i dont' know if i've been here long enough to have seen that feature, but from what i understand, you're saying you could watch what another ebay member was bidding on? if i had to guess, i would say they wouldn't bring it back due to confidentiality/privacy for the buyer, or for any ebay member. i know they've done alot of tightening up on security/privacy for ebay members in the last few years, that option doesn't sound like it would be one they'd bring back...sounds like it would go against what ebay is trying to protect...

Go to advanced search ... items by bidder ... then enter the bidder's id ... you can see what they have bid on in the past and what they are currently bidding on, even if not high bidder.

That's the only method I know of, and I don't think it was ever cancelled.

The advanced search that Nancy refers to is the only method to see what someone is bidding on. Recently ebay restricted it so that you only see some of the auctions that someone has bid on. It is supposed to be for privacy purposes but the haven't published the criteria for selection or the percentage that are shown.
