Returned item but no refund

A a pair of brand new shoes I purchased was returned to the seller.  I contacted the seller numerous times letting him know of the status of the return.  Upon delivery of the item back to the seller, which took forever, I contacted him again asking for the refund

but no response, nothing.  I cannot file dispute on paypal either, because the payment was made more than 45 days ago (Sept 30).   Now I don't have either shoes or money.  What are my options?  Thanks

1) Leave negative feedback today.  It may prompt the seller to refund the money asking you to change the feedback.  Do not revise feedback until money is in your hands.

2) Contact your credit card issuer is you paid for your purchase with a credit card through PayPal.  Otherwise, there is no way to get your money back short of going to court against the seller.
