OK Calvin has posted these GSP threads on the board ( which is great), and their has been an over whelming response ( mostly if not all negative), so what now?
I dont understand why post if you dont plan to make some kind of change in the future or some kind of something. The GSP is still running as it first started. We Canadians still feel is a money grab by both parties involved. Sorry I just dont get the posts.

If my recollection is correct, there have been a few small changes made to the GSP since its inception. One that comes to mind is the inclusion of "import charges" in an item's shipping charge if an item isn't subject to taxes or duty, and another is the ability for sellers to exempt particular countries from the GSP right in their listings and feature direct shipping instead.
Since the GSP is designed for sellers and not buyers, I suspect any further changes will only be made if it's apparent that they will benefit sellers and have the potential to further increase international sales on the .com (and now UK) site.
I guess the GSP threads are still up to provide a sounding board for those discovering it for the first time and who didn't read up on it before hitting the "buy" button. eBay is a business and not a democracy, so if it feels that its business plan is being well served by the GSP despite a plethora of complaints on various discussion boards, so be it.
