The end of Seller "Me" page

I notice that the phase-out of the "Me" page, announced several months ago by eBay, has finally taken full effect.  Click on the icon and you're now taken to the (rather impersonal) personal profile page.

I'm very sorry to see it go, as it was the one place a seller could fairly freely give buyers a sense of the person behind the storefront.  It was also the last vestige of permitted links and personal photos.

Try clicking on a few sellers' "Me" icons -- I think you'll find yourself on their Profile page, which really allows little or nothing to be displayed of individual information.  Just 'round and 'round inside eBay itself.

Not that it will change anything now, but what do other sellers think about this loss?

P.S. I realize it isn't just sellers who have lost the "Me" page, but I think it was something important from a seller marketing viewpoint, more so than for buyers.
