Did anyone recive this eBay Canada Price Promotion - November 20, 2006 email?

It was never sent to my email, only in my ebay messages box. From the order in which it was received I can tell it came some time TODAY between 11:40AM and 1:14PM

How the hell are we supposed to take advantage of the friggin' promo???

Since you're on the boards. Look over to the right. In the Information Central box you'll find a link to promotions and announcements. Look in there. As soon as it's announced, it'll be in there.

Yes the emails should be better managed but there is always the announcment section for your own use and info.

See, the thing is that I have a Full-time day job and I am a part-time student.

I prepare my klistings a couple of days in advance and when I receive the message about the promo I make some adjustments and I usually transfer my Store Items to auction listings when they have a promo.

I can do it the night before and schedule a bunch of listings for the next day, but I can't start doing it in the middle of the day.

Why do they wait so late to send notification? It sounds like they are putting out these promos, but really they would prefer if we would not change our listing patterns. Well I think that if they don't really want us to take advantage of the promo, why make a promo at all?

Haha. Yup. I got my eMail at 10:13 PM.

Left me an hour and 47 minutes.

Guess ALL forms of mail are slow around the Holiday Season.

I just started a similar thread. I am asking them my promotion day be today ! I checked the history on the email. It was sent to Yahoo at 10:51pm and then to rogers at 11:50pm on the night of the 20th (promotion is almost over by then) and then sent to me at 1:50am on the 21st when the promotion is over. NOT much help I must say. I am glad I wasn't the only one !!!!
