I want to buy a product that is located in Canada, where I'm from. Why is it listing in US dollars?

Because the seller choose to list in US$ (often because they ship most of their items outside Canada, and also if they need US$ for their own purchasing).

Paypal (or your credit card) can convert your Cdn$ to US$  -- today you'd be adding around 38% to the total.

You can ask the seller if they are willing to take payment in Cdn$ (but don't be surprised if you are turned down),

-.-

Re: US dollars when shipping from Cananda

If you are searching on eBaydot COM (the US site) you will only see the price in US dollars.

If you Search on eBay dot CA (the Canadian site) you will see the price in the currency the seller chose (loonies, US dollars, pounds, euros, rupees) as well as the approximate amount in Canadian dollars.

Approximate because currency rates fluctuate constantly.
