What does the category "Watchers" mean?

Using counters on auctions one can see how many people have viewed the item. If one wants to keep track of the item they can click Watchers  Sellers on their my ebay page can see how many people have done this

Watchers are not buyers. They are unlikely to become buyers. They may be your competitors or lookie-lous or doing comparisons.
