I just listed some items tonight and in big red letters it says
This item does not ship to Brazil
why is Ebay doing this when I have only shipping to US and Canada and everything excluded on Ebay preferences?

When you go into one of your listings, go to the shipping and payments tab and check to see what country your shipping location is set to. It must say Brazil so ebay thinks that you are looking at getting an item shipped to Brazil.

Here is what it says and the drop down only shows Canada and United States which is correct

Well, your listings look to me exactly as you describe.
However, Bay code reading does some strange things. As I sell car parts, I put year ranges in titles. Some of those ranges are phone numbers in Myanmar. I see it, but, I do not believe buyers see it, it invites them to telephone me in Myanmar. There is another glitch that only I see. After a sale it tells me I am mailing an e-packet from Singapore.
I called in about both of those and they just shook their heads saying that only I see it, no-one else.
Heck, it could be the way you have typed "US". The correct name of Brazil is the United States of Brazil.

Although you would normally think this is the explanation, when I look at one of the OP's most recent listings, the "Change Country" drop-down box on the Shipping tab doesn't show any choices except Canada and United States. Nothing else appears at all. So where "Brazil" is coming from is rather mysterious.
To the OP -- when you go under the "Shipping" tab on the listing you mentioned, check the drop-down "Change Country" box. Are you seeing more than I'm seeing, i.e. more than just Canada and United States as the choices? If so, something that you've set up in your shipping preferences or the SIY form could be the problem.

I don't know what the item is but is it possibily something that cannot be shipped to Brazil because of Brazil's import restrictions. Ebay may be able to put a big red sign saving that it doesn't ship to Brazil because of something like this. Have no idea if Ebay has been working on this or not but it is a possibility.
Hope you figure it out.

Shipping and handlingItem location: Lundbreck, Alberta, CanadaShipping to: Canada, United StatesExcludes: Africa, Asia, Central America and Caribbean, Europe, Middle East, Oceania, Southeast Asia, South America, Bermuda, Greenland, Mexico, Saint Pierre and Miquelon
Change country: This item does not ship to BrazilWhat do you see when you look at one of my auction listings which is where this shows?
I see the shipping rate for Canada but if I change my shopping location to Brazil, then I see what you are seeing. The only people who will what you are seeing are people who are either in Brazil or who have changed their location to Brazil so that they can shipping information to that country.
For example, When I am listing something and am checking prices for that item on ebay, I usually change my location to the U.S. so that I see what the total item and shipping price is for the U.S. since the majority of my buyers are (or used to be) in the U.S. Somehow your location was changed to Brazil, possibly when you were looking at another seller's listing. All this does is allow you to see what sellers ship to Brazil or whether they do ship there at all.
To change your location - Under the Shipping and Payments tab next to Change Country, Click on the dropdown and change the country to Canada, put in your postal code and then click rates.
You will no longer see anything about Brazil because ebay will no longer think that's where you are shopping from.
I hope this all makes sense. 🙂

Take a look at:

Went into site preferences and everything was excluded except the United States so all was correct.
Just for the heck of it, I checked the apply to all active listings and it appears to have solved the problem as the does not ship to Brazil is now gone. Not sure what happened as TL is supposed to use the exclusion list from Ebay but I do know TL is full of various bugs and glitches.
Will keep my eye on all future items listed to see if more weird things come up.
Thanks all for suggestions and comments

As you said, that is caused by the seller blocking North America but that was not the cause of the OP's problem because they actually do not ship to Brazil so that message is not wrong. If someone from Brazil looked at his listing then they would see Does not ship to Brazil which is correct. Pierre, when you buy something you want it sent to Canada so obviously your shipping location is set to Canada. So when you look at someone's listings that does not ship to Canada, you will see Does not ship to Canada.
This has absolutely nothing to do with the seller's exclusion or anything to do with their listings. It has to do with where ebay thinks the OP wants his purchases sent to. No one else saw what was OP was seeing because he was the only one who at some point had accidentally changed his shipping location to Brazil. Actually, I'm sure if the OP had looked at any listings that did not ship to Brazil , he would have seen the same message because his shipping location was set to Brazil.
In fact, I had set my shipping location to Brazil when I read about his problem and when I look at his listings, I still see Does not ship to Brazil. When I look at your listings, I see that there is free shipping to Brazil. Just now I changed my location to the UK on your listing and then went back to the OP's listing, refreshed the page and now see Does Not Ship to the UK. It would work the same for any other country.

It had nothing to do with your listings or your exclusions or TL but I'm glad that you are no longer seeing the same thing.

Not sure what you are saying about changing things. The ones listed today are fine and I used the same template with preset info on TL that I used for the ones with the Brazil issue
