Hello,
The ETA for a purchase from the UK is September 22. Ilive in Alberta, and will be away until September 21. From the tracking, it looks like the parcel may arrive before September 21. Is the parcel kept for 10 days like the post office, or do you get two visits from the courier and then the parcel is sent back to its sender?
Thanks.
Ian

Depends. But coming via post office, generally one visit, if not there a pickup card is usually left (but they could also just dump the parcel off, it depends). With a final reminder in a week or so.
Follow the tracking, and phone your post office pickup location and ask if they could hold the parcel until you are back (tracking number needed).

Future option: the post office does allow you to have your mail held for you if you are away for awhile.

The Post Office will hold your mail for up to three months. There is a fee.
'Before you pay for the service, ask if it covers parcels.
Do you have a neighbour or family member who can pick up your mail?
