I have just order 2 pairs of pants from a seller dailyappliance 2010 and wonder if combined shipping will be done at a later date or when?

A question to be asked before buying I would think?
It's up to each individual seller if they want to offer combined shipping.
It's also important to understand the difference between "combined shipping" & "combined shipping discounts"
It's not a rule for a seller to offer combined shipping or a discount.
Again, these questions should be posted to a seller prior to buying.

According to the listing, the first pair of pants should have $9 for shipping and the second pair are free to ship. Have you already paid for the pants? If not, ask the seller for a combined invoiced. If you have already paid, you will have to send the seller a message asking for a partial shipping refund.
In some categories, the only way that shipping will automatically show as discounted is if you put the items in the shopping cart before paying. Because .ca does not have a shopping cart, you wolud have to do that while shopping on ebay.com
Be careful when ordering clothing from China as I've heard the sizes there are often much smaller than anticipated.

And if you order from the US, there are problems with combined, discounted shipping when sellers use the GSP.
Again, part of the learning curve, but it is best to ask before ordering.
And to remind the seller, politely of the quote on shipping, before paying an erroneous invoice.
