Why auction did finish at on Dec 30, 2015 at 10:10 :49 EST not at 10:10:00 as per advertised.

Dear Sirs,

I have a question.

I won the eBay auction (item number141857086308) and found in the bid list  that the auction finished  at 10:10:49  EST instead of 10:10:00 EST as per advertised in the eBay auction information.

Can you please clarify this situation?

Thank you.

Happy New Year!

The auction ended at:

Time Ended: Dec-30-15 07:10:57 PST (or 10:10:58 EST)

http://offer.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewBids&item=141857086308&rt=nc&_trksid=p2047675.l2565

If you check the listing page for completed auctions, you will notice eBay shows hours and minutes only - not seconds.

The auction began at 07:10:57 PST on Dec. 20, 2015.  It was a 10 day auction and ended at 07:10:57 PST on Dec. 30, 2015.  Your last bid was placed at 07:10:48 PST on Dec. 30th.  The final bid of $4,510.00 was placed at 07:10:49 PST on Dec. 30th.  Since your maximum bid was higher than that, and there were no further bids, you were the winning bidder at $4,660.00.  You have simply confused the final bid time with the auction end time.  The time the auction ended at is stated at the top of the Bid History:

Bidders: 15       Bids: 31       Time Ended: Dec-30-15 07:10:57 PST       Duration: 10 days

The confusion arises because eBay only shows hours and minutes on the ended listing:

Ended:  Dec 30, 2015 , 10:10AM

eBay shows seconds on the bidding list but not on the listing page.
