Why do tracking number with the prefix "CFE" followed by 8-digits never show activity?

I get mixed results using eBay tracking feature.

My tracking numbers seem to be 2 types based on their prefix:

1) "CFE" + 8-digits                never show activity

2) "LK" + 8-digits + "CN"        usually work

I tried a couple of 3rd party sites* which show all CFE prefixes as invalid.

What do these prefixes mean?

If the seller purchases postage online...especially with paypal....each purchase gets a transaction number.  If the service purchased is a trackable service...that transaction number is trackable.  If the service purchased is not a trackable service....obviously it won't track.  The more affordable shipping options don't track.  No perks.  So, basically, if you decided to buy because the shipping costs were so reasonable....don't expect the tracking number to be an actual tracking number.

Are all CFE tracking numbers invalid tracking numbers?  Why not just leave it blank if tracking is not (perk) feature available?

The tracking with the prefifx ´´CFE´´  That mean  PARCELFORCE.
