I can not leave feedback for my buyers i have contacted ebay numerous times no reply

I am unable to reply or leave feedback for my buyers this has been going on for sometime now i have contacted ebay on numerous occasions but they tell me it will be fixed but it has not this is affecting my sales and i am sick and tired of contacting ebay i dont think they care that much lets face it without the sellers there is no ebay can someone help me Thanks

Frankly, I don't think it has much effect on your sales.

Your repeat customers know you and your occasional or oneoff customers make their decisions based on your existing feedback.

 

Which is where your real problem lies.

Calling customers names, especially when the problem was your own responsibility, is more likely to lead a new customer to backout of a purchase, than any new feedback a 32000 FB seller might get.

And saying you were in hospital doesn't help. It may be the truth, I certainly believe you, but health problems are invisible online, and most people will consider such an excuse as phoney as a country song*.

 

Responses are useful, but the most effective Responses are calm and factual. If feedback is inaccurate, correct the error. But just don't call customers names, or post is ALL CAPS, which is considered shouting and rude.

Have you tried logging in to the American ebay.com and doing it from there?  Some sellers claim this seems to work fine even when they are unable to leave it on ebay Canada.  

 

And yes, looking at your responses to negs and neutrals over the years, your own vitriolic responses will be doing far more to deter customers than an inability to leave buyer feedback at all.  Nothing is ever your fault, is it.  

Your answers are always the same and certainly indicate that you would be poisonous to deal with.  Even no response would be better than shouting, name calling, blaming, and insults.  

 

You might consider changing your approach as a  New Year's Resolution. Smiley Happy
