Why does ebay side with buyers regardless of proof, should I pay this invoice?

I trusted a seller and sent him a $100 headset internationally. He hastily wanted refunds and opened a case after I said he should wait and that It will take time. He just says he didnt get his item, calls me a scammer and ebay takes his  word against mine, When I had proof it was sent out.

Didnt have tracking number because its $300 for an item that large to be shipped internationally, trusted the seller a little too much it seems

Turns out a week later after he gets his money back he tells me he received it and that he wants to send it back. Doesnt this mean ebay should send him the invoice for that money back and NOT me? I find it pretty ridiculous that ebay would still side with buyer even after they say they got it. They told him he could do whatever he wants, send it back, pay or DO NOTHING. Is this just? I feel like ive been completely **bleep**ed over  by this **bleep** company.

The buyer paid.

You shipped.

You did not use a tracked service

The buyer was impatient and opened an Item Not Received dispute.

You lost the dispute because you could not prove Delivery.

The buyer got his refund.

They buyer received the item.

He wants to send it back.

Let him.
