I just got passed from person to person in their call center and then they sent me back to paypal, who told me to go to ebay in the first place. What a joke.

The posters to this board have hands on experience as buyers and sellers, and don't work from a script.

Customer service has improved tremendously during the past few months.
All it took was to hire people who could speak English.

Too bad you had that experience. I haven't called a lot, but when I have I've never had a problem. If that particular Rep. doesn't know the answer, I've just been passed to someone who does. Yes, femmefan is so right, there are so many knowledgeable people on these boards - did you get your answer eventually, if not.....post your question. I certainly am not saying you were nothing else but being polite - that's the only way to go.

Delighted to do so.
"reach out to me" is sub-par English, as is subpar.
"Contact me" is briefer, and devoid of the tone of synthetic management speak, uniformly despised by all who don't use it.
