I bought more than 20 of theCree LED lights about 16 month or so. Avarage price about $ 4.00 each. Today there are only couple of them working. The rest have been tossed in the electronic recycle bin. Even dollar store lights lasted longer than these lights. E-Bay should assume responsibility of not listing these items when there are complaints from customers. Same thing with those GodP and BTY rechargable batteries. This stuff is garbage and worth nothing. Don't waste your money buying this stuff, We should all gather and demand refunds from e-bay. Another way is perhaps start putting pressure on ebay to not list these items or stop buying through e-bay, this is the only time they listen to us.

You bought from China, I'm guessing.
Don't.
At least not on this type of item.
You have only 45 days to register a Dispute with eBay or Paypal. You have longer with the credit card you really pay with (PP is just a mediator).
Since refunds work on the basis that neither party can have both the item and the money, you may be required to return the disputed item to the seller.
With tracking.
For China this is very expensive.
You can leave a Response to your own or to the Seller's feedback indefinitely. This does not affect his rating as a seller, but such Responses show up on his feedback page.

" I don't have statistics but I would bet most buyers make their purchases on-the-go now through their mobile devices "
20% to 25% seems to be the experience of most sellers. For more information, please take a look at:
My own experience would be most likely less than 10% but I sell mostly to a very mature (older) crowd. My average customer is over 60.

Yes. There is no deadline for Responses. That may change in future.
While these services may not show on a mobile device, most people, even those glued to their iPhones, have access to a 'real' computer. If you want to leave a Response, the possibility is there.
The high number of buyers using mobiles to buy is a warning to sellers to check what their listings look like on mobile devices. A remarkable percentage of problem transactions happen because the buyer and the seller are seeing different information. It is also a warning to buyers that they should check the whole listing on a desktop or laptop before committing any serious money to a purchase.

If this was notably cheaper than the competition, now you know why.
You are confusing ebay with ebay sellers.
Ebay sellers can range from diamonds to dirt. First buy the seller, then buy the item.
