Why is the shipping charge I revised for US shipments not appearing, only the Canadian price.

I revised all my sale items to include the U.S. (this was after the fact) and now none of the shipping costs to the U.S. appear.  Only Canadian shipping costs appear.  Does anyone know what  I might have done wrong?   Thanks.
