Several different types of eBay messages for price reductions:
(1) The seller discounted the price for a certain time. The price you pay is the price the seller expects.
(2) The seller reduced the price. The price you pay is the price the seller expects.
(3) Special eBay promos. The price reduction for you as a buyer comes when you enter a special code when paying (usually through paypal for these promos). The buyer pays the reduced price, and eBay makes up the difference, so the seller sees the usual price paid.

In your My eBay, check the Account section and look at Communication Preferences for the kinds of email that eBay sends you.

When you go to that listing, the discount will show on the listing. If the price is different than what the email said than there is a problem somewhere, Are you saying that you get a notice that a price has been lowered but when you go to the item the price is not lower?

Yes exactly my point. PJ Some days I dont pay attention cause I feel spammed of the offers.
