does anyone know why i can't purchase insurance

via paypal with international expresspost?????? i'm trying to print a label and purchase insurance and its not charging me...called paypal...20 minute wait...grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr...is this normal..i'm pretty sure have done this before (insurance+international expresspost)...or is there a glitch? i suppose i should go and check the announcements...its snowing MOUNDS here-last thing i want to do is drive to the post office with a bunch of yahoos in line...ever irritating...BUT...they took their 64.99 portion of the paypal payment:-) there's never a glitch there is there...

Have you selected the "Yes" radio dial button in the Shipping Options section? If you don't actually click on the yes button it will never add additional insurance regardless of Insurance Coverage amount you enter.

yippers! over and over again, it doesn't charge, so i go back or 'edit shipment details' and find it at 'no'...can't figure it out, its like it's defaulting to no automatically even after hitting yes...

yes it wont let me ither . I shipped about 30 packages this way until i realized all of them are at 0 insurance. Best bet is to Send it Via canada posts website direct . Only way i could get insurance on the package . Be brutal if sending something expensive and they lost it .
