how can I send my paypal ID number to the seller to get my refund?

Hello, the seller is asking for my PayPal ID number so he/she may give me my refund for the item sold to me, the PayPal ID number is my  email address and due to the EBAY  restrictions I am not able to send an email address through my messages. Please help.

If you paid by paypal the sellerr does not need your number.

All they have to do is go to their paypal acct and  click

on the transaction and go to issue a refund.

This sounds as if the seller is trying to avoid paying that refund.

However, he may also be asking for the Paypal transaction number, go to your Paypal list and look for the original transaction. Click on Details. The number will be right at the top of the Transaction Details page.
