Grrrr, it's happening again!

I'm only getting about half the "Item Sold" emails from eBay. Sometimes I'll only know something has sold because I check My eBay or get a PayPal payment or a request from the buyer to send them an invoice. It's causing a lot of hassle, time, and I've lost some fees and potential profits because of this as well. No, it's not a problem with my ISP or email program or antivirus software or junk mail filter. EBay just isn't consistantly sending the emails. Sometimes I'll get them a day late... and sometimes not at all. It's playing havoc on my business because I use email exclusively to keep track of my sales.

They've had this problem many times in the past, only to get it working okay for a while... but now it's not working again.

Anyone else?

Hard to tell, I've had so many sympatico problems. I use my email software to track and save info on auctions too, & I'm looking for a better method.

I just signed up to try Selling Manager - what a waste of time that is.

I suggest you rethink this....this problem consistently occurs for some sellers but for the vast majority (including myself) except on very rare occasions I receive my end of auction notices within 2 minutes of the auction end, same goes for listing confirmations.

I know exactly what you are talking about it takes forever to get any email from ebay even when a bidder askes a question we get them anywhere from 30 min to 12 hours later
we have done testes to to if it is our connection or ebay
when we send email from any other computer we get it right away but when we send the same email through ebay it took 12 hours to show up

Marketworks keeps me informed. I send those eBay emails straight to the trash!

I get those about a day later myself. As a matter of fact I had auctions ended last weekend and just received 2 notifications they were sold. Heck, they were paid for and shipped already! I don't hold too much stock in those notices anymore. I just check the auctions.
