under "my eBay," select "selling", then scroll down to bottom of the page where you should be able to see the number of items available to sell as outlined by the headings:
Start Date | End Date | Used | Left | Status |

Did you mean "how many items I'm allowed to list by eBay", or "how many items do I have listed for sale"? These are two different things entirely.
You won't see your "allowed number of listings" displayed -- you'll simply find out what your limit is when you bump up against it. Then you'll receive an automated message telling you you must wait a certain number of days before listing again.
If you're a new seller, there are various limits placed on selling until you get established. That information is under the "Help & Contact" link at the bottom of this page -- enter "selling limits" in the search box.
If you've been selling for a while on eBay and think you may have come close to your permitted dollar limit, you can contact eBay and request that the limit be raised. As long as your seller account and status are in good standing, you'll probably get approved for a higher limit.
Otherwise, if you were trying to see how many items you currently have listed on eBay for sale, use the directions given by the poster above.

Not all sellers do see that information but I believe that all new or restricted sellers do see it.

Those directions are for the OP to be able to see how many they have listed and how many more listings they are allowed to list.

I do see mine, and I cannot say I am a new seller... 🙂 To see it, mouse over "My eBay" at the top of the page and select "Selling" in the drop down menu. You will see it here (that is MY selling limit by the way):
Monthly selling limits | Edit | |
You can sell up to 840 items or up to C $20,000.00 per month, whichever comes first. |
Under that, I have the number of items I sold, those listed and how many I can still list. It also shows the corresponding amount of money for each category.

I realize that it's not just new sellers who can see that info but it isn't visible to all sellers. I don't see it on my account or my husband's account but I'm sure that we have limits...we just can't see them yet.

I wonder if the difference has to do with a store/non-store account? (I've had a store for years and I can't recall ever seeing anything similar to what you've posted.)
