Hello All. I received a message requesting that I submit my Tax ID Number. Failure to do so means I could incur a fine of $500 from the Canadian Revenue Agency (CRA). Is this legit?

As long as you can verify that it is an actual request from eBay (and not from a scammer), it is legit:

Yes, it's legit. I called CRA before I gave ebay my info, just to make sure.
