Canada Post HS code tool

Hi Folks,

Is anyone else experiencing issues with the CP Tool for HS codes?

Just checked. Works fine with my PaleMoon and Firefox browsers.

You could try clearing the cookies from your browser for the canada post website.

Hi I am looking to ship a unisex black 100% cotton sweatshirt to USA from Canada. According to the HS Code Tool it is 6211.42 under  the heading of Track Suits, Ski suits....Of cotton etc.

Is this good enough or do I have to go into details like whether it is of Recreational performance and the listed subcatergories.

I do all my shipping through snap ship and I never put in a HS code anymore and I am never asked for it when I go to the next page.

You don't need to go into more detail.  Also, fir the description on the customs info, I always delete the eBay title and simplify it by writing 'sweatshirt'.
