Thanks, I need to warn buyers mailing will be a day late. As Canada day is actually on the 3rd I just wasn't sure.

Canada Post says July 1.
Most stores that have reopened in Ontario will also be closed July 1 for the holiday. Lots of folk with the option will time shift the holiday to July 3 for a long weekend.

No.
Canada Day is not a "moveable feast".
Always on July First.
Same with the US Independence Day.
Always on July Fourth.
It is possible that some government departments give an additional day off but as a retired public servant, I can't recall any, with the confusing exception of St Jean Baptiste/Jour Nationale on June 24, on which federal buildings on the Quebec side of the Ottawa River were closed but those on the Ottawa side were open and not all Quebec residents would show up for work that day.
